Flood alert issued for Pill

People in Pill are being warned to prepare for potential flooding due to high tides.

The Environment Agency has put out a flood alert for the River Avon which affects Pill, as well as parts of Bristol.

The first high water is expected at around 8.45pm today (Tuesday) and strong winds are also predicted.

The second high tide is predicted at around 9.15am tomorrow (Wednesday), when winds are expected to be stronger still.
