AN open day at Parish Wharf Leisure Centre in Portishead is expected to raise money for charity at the same time as providing customers with free fitness classes.
Staff at the Harbour Road leisure centre are offering free trial classes from 6pm and free swimming from 7pm on April 18.
There will be free prize giveaways and special membership offers available, but at the same time, raffles, competitions and collections will take place in aid of Penny Brohn Cancer Care.
Emma Smith a customer advisor at Parish Wharf said: “We hold this kind of event every three months or so and our customers usually give very generously to this good cause.”
