Firefighters called to car fire in Portishead

Avon Fire and Rescue Service was called to a car fire in Portishead yesterday (Thursday).

One fire crew from Portishead were called to the fire in Mulberry Avenue at 5.04pm.

They used one high-pressured hose reel to put out the fire, but the vehicle was badly damaged.

The fire service believes the fire was started accidentally.
