A BLOCK of sheltered accommodation was evacuated after a fire broke out in Clevedon last night.

Fire crews from Clevedon and Nailsea were called to Jesmond Road at 8.30pm.

The small fire was in a linen cupboard in the three-storey property and the cause is being investigated.
