Villagers hosted a fun-filled Christmas fair in Congresbury over the weekend to raise money for the nation’s foodbanks.
The fair, which took place at Middlecombe Nursery, in Wrington Road, raised £430 for the Trussell Trust, a charity which supports foodbanks around the country.
As well as raising money for the charity, the event saw more than 80kg of food donated to the worthy cause.
There were plenty of fun-filled games for youngsters, as well as a mouth-watering selection of food and drink on offer.
Teas, coffees, mince pies and bratwurst sausages were served throughout the day and there was even an outdoor barbecue despite the chilly weather.
While grown-ups indulged in festive refreshments, children embarked on an epic elf trail – spotting as many elves as possible which were hidden all around the nursery.
