MEMBERS of a revamped Clevedon church will hold a Christmas tree festival to celebrate its reopening.

Christchurch in Chapel Hill has recently undergone a £1.3million renovation, including the creation of new community facilities, and will reopen to its congregation on Sunday.

Now, residents and groups are being encouraged to take part in Christmas festival on December 8 and 9 by entering a decorated Christmas tree.

Anyone wishing to take part should download an entry form at www.christchurch-clevedon.org.uk or call 01275 870627. The closing date is November 16

The festival will run from 11am-7pm on December 8 and 1-5pm on December 9 and will also feature Christmas music, gift stalls and a Christmas tree throwing competition.
