AN EVENT in Portishead took on a distinctly nautical theme with demonstrations and taster sessions.
Festival on the Quay took place at the town’s marina with visitors given the chance to have a go at sailing. There were also boat tours, model boat demonstrations and a display by the Newfoundland Friends rescue dogs.
The festival saw money raised for the Portishead and Bristol Lifeboat Trust.
