The place of worship will have the model angel displays on show until after the New Year.

Handmade angels crafted from folded book pages, polystyrene and cardboard cut-outs were made by children and adults.

People also had the chance to make their own angels during the week’s event.

Many colourful exhibits graced the church, including a cardboard cut-out freestanding angel, which has been painted and decorated with fairy lights.

Other creative designs made an appearance, including models made with a roll of string decorated with a doily and a plastic-cap hat, those made with button skirts and many with blonde and silver hair.

The event raised money for mission charities.
