Families flock to Festival of Angels

Volunteers spent hours designing models of angels for a religious festival at a village church.
Children, families and volunteers took part in the event hosted by All Saints Church in Wrington during a weekend's festivities.
People designed simple models to intricate designs to be displayed at the place of worship on November 23-24.
Villagers could get involved with the project months in advance, and the festival celebrates the Christian nativity - a story close to people's hearts at this time of the year.
Members of the rural communications project run by WERN Village Agents, 'threw' themselves into making angels which featured at the event.
The project works to tackle social isolation in rural villages, and the Wrington group was 'excited' to exhibit their creations.
A spokesman from All Saints said: "Surfaces in the building became a landing zone for angels, a space for poetry or other expressions of worship at the church."
