Feasting for funds
A FEAST and an auction in Clevedon raised more than 1,700 for charity.
The event was held at Clevedon Baptist Church by the Changing Lives charity shop in Clevedon and Crisis Ministries and FareShare in Bristol.
Guests enjoyed a banquet courtesy of Fareshare, which uses surplus foods from the food and drink industry to feed disadvantaged people.
They then listened to a short presentation from each charity before bidding on some of the top gifts on offer in the auction.
The event was such a success the charities are hoping to repeat the fund-raiser at other churches in the area.
