CHILDREN at Yeo Moor Primary School have been attending lessons dressed as characters from well-known fairytales.

Year one pupils at the Clevedon school have been learning about traditional tales and have also been writing their own stories which were inspired by dressing up for a day as some of their favourite characters.

A variety of costumes were on show ranging from princesses and knights to cowboys, pirates and crocodiles.

Roland Lovatt, headteacher, said: “Children have been engaged with role play, writing, construction of settings and art work, all inspiring future storywriting.”
