Fatal collision near Clevedon
A DRIVER was killed after two cars collided on Kenn Road near Clevedon last night.
Police were called to the scene at 6.26pm after reports of a head-on collision between a beige Toyota and a silver BMW.
The male driver of the Toyota, who is believed to be in his 60s or 70s, died at the scene.
Four other people, all in their 60s-70s, were injured in the collision. One man suffered facial injuries and chest pain, a second suffered cuts to the head and a female passenger suffered injuries to her hip, wrist and hand. The three patients were taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
A third male suffering from chest pain was taken to Bristol Royal Infirmary.
The road was closed by police until 10.40pm. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call the police on 0845 456 7000.
