Hundreds of extras are needed to play a part in a film inspired by a Clevedon author’s true story.

Mum’s List is based on St John Greene’s poignant tale of how his wife left behind a list of 100 things she wanted him to do with their sons, Reef and Finn, after she died from breast cancer.

The story, which became a best seller in 2012, is now being made into a film with the majority of scenes being shot in and around Clevedon.

Around 130 people are wanted to film the scene featuring Kate’s funeral at St Andrew’s Church in Old Church Road at 7.30am tomorrow (Thursday).

Extras are requested to wear smart, dark, warm clothes with a little bit of colour for the scene which is expected to be wrapped up by 11.15am.

Anyone interested in taking part should private message the Mum’s List Extras Facebook page with their age and contact number.
