Infants at a nursery in Clevedon have been learning all about the emergency services.

Bognor House Day Nursery, in Old Church Road, has been visited by members of a number of services to talk to the children about what they do in their jobs.

A spokesman for the nursery said: “The children at Bognor House Day Nursery have had a very busy week learning all
about the emergency services.

“We have been very privileged to have had lots of guests visit us to tell us about their jobs and enhance our learning including paramedics, firemen, coastguards and a police community support officer.

“The children have been learning about how to keep safe, how to ask for help, learning their full names, addresses and what to say should they ever need to make a 999 call.

“The children are looking forward to visiting the fire station and coastguard station in the future.”
