A Clevedon firm is sponsoring a cycling challenge which raises vital funds for Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW).

Edwards – a leading manufacturer of vacuum products – has supported the Ride For Precious Lives challenge every year since 2013 and it is also entering a team into the event.

Ride For Precious Lives will take place from July 12-14 this year when cyclists will pedal 205 miles, calling in at the charity’s three hospices in Cornwall, North Devon and North Somerset.

Amanda Gallagher, from the children’s hospice, said: “We are hugely grateful for the continued support from Edwards.

“Their sponsorship helps us cover the cost of running the event and ensures we can direct all of the funds raised back into the care we provide at our hospices.”

Jago Snook, from the firm, said: “We are very proud to support CHSW.

“We know all the money we raise goes directly to the hospice and to caring for local families who are facing the unimaginable.”
