INSECTS and reptiles slithered into a Nailsea school to help children learn about animals in the rainforest.

Year four pupils from Golden Valley Primary School were treated to a visit from an albino snail, a millipede, a tarantulas, hissing cockroaches, corn snakes and frogs, courtesy of the Zoolab.

They also learnt about their eating habits and the armour they use against predators.
