CHILDREN were told about the lifesaving role of firefighters during a special session at their school.
Reception and nursery pupils at Crockerne Primary School in Pill were visited by the white watch crew from Bedminster fire station along with an area rescue appliance.
The visit was organised by Lucy Stratton, a parent and firefighter, who was accompanied by some of her colleagues
