YOUNGSTERS at Trinity Primary School in Portishead were introduced to dodge ball as part of National School Sport Week.
Portishead Lloyds Bank managers Jo McLaren and Lin Dallin turned up to award certificates after Ryan Elursby, the area manager from Sports First, which delivers coaching to children in schools across the South West of England, spent a morning teaching pupils how to play the popular sport.
Sponsored by Lloyds TSB, National School Sport Week is Britain’s biggest school sporting event aimed at getting children to try new Olympic and Paralympic activities, make their own sports pledges and learn about the values of the Olympics.
