Pupils in years one and two at Birdwell Primary School have been studying newspapers as their class topic for this term and as part of this have learnt to use Dictaphones, take photographs and write stories.

They aim to produce a newspaper by the end of the term complete with some history about the village and articles on topical issues, including icy pavements, and the popular tale of The Three Little Pigs which they have also been studying.
