A TEAM of young conservationists have been digging, planting and maintaining a special outdoor area at their school.
A group of pupils at St Mary’s Primary School in Portbury meet every week to carry out work at a conservation area.
Based in the school grounds, the area has been created to attract birds and wildlife to the site and also to be used as an outdoor teaching space.
