A team of chemistry students from St Katherine's School in Pill have impressed at the Salters' Festival of Chemistry in Bristol.

Four pupils at the school attended the event where they won a challenge by superbly carrying out tests on evidence found at a crime scene, beating competition from a number of other schools.

The Salters’ Institute plays a major role in promoting education in chemistry.
