A VE Day party saw children in Portishead showing off their work to proud parents.
Year six pupils at St Peter’s Primary School dressed up for the event to mark the end of their studies of World War Two. VE Day was celebrated on May 8, 1945, to mark the end of the conflict in Europe.
Parents had the chance to go along and hear what their children had learnt as part of their class topic.
