The World of Football comes to Nailsea giving youngsters a taste of life as a professional football player
FOOTBALL fans lived the dream of becoming a sporting hero when they took part in a half term football club at Nailsea School.
The school ran the World of Football programme which gave youngsters an insight into the life of a professional footballer by taking part in training, post-match interviews and filming adverts for sports drinks, which were all filmed and show on a daily Sly Sports news reel.
Teams competed for the coveted cup in a touch final game. The awards evening is due to be held at the end of June when the film from the week, as well as slow-motion replays, will be shown to family and friends.
