WILLY Wonka interrupted an assembly at Tickenham Primary School after his Great Glass Elevator crashed in the village.
After telling his story of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to the school’s excited pupils, he also went into each class where chocolate bars containing a hidden golden ticket had been hidden.
The visit from Willy Wonka, played by Bob Gibbons, was organised as part of the school’s literacy week and youngsters also had the chance to ask him questions to inspire their writing work.
