Story sacks full of toys and books have been donated to a Nailsea school to help children enjoy reading.

Generous members of the Nailsea WI made sacks printed with different book covers then filled them with books and props for the tale.

For The Very Hungry Caterpillar, the WI made a caterpillar, a cocoon, a butterfly and all the food the insect ate.

Cheri Frost, head of primary at the school said: “We want to say a huge thank you to the WI. It was amazing. The children will absolutely love them.”
