CHILDREN from Happy Hours Nursery in Nailsea have been given high visibility vests so they can enjoy trips safely.
Youngsters were given the fluorescent gear by PCSO Charlotte Thompson on behalf of the Avon and Somerset Police Community Trust.
Charlotte visited the nursery to talk to the children about her job and how to stay safe on trips outside the nursery.
Happy Hours deputy manager Emma Pointon said: “The children really enjoyed the visit, learning about being a police community support officer and why it is important to be seen when we go on trips. She also showed the children her police radio and brought along a riot van.”
