YOUNG footballing stars from Nailsea have been celebrating after triumphing in a district-wide tournament.
Year five and six pupils from Grove Junior School won the North Somerset Schools Football Tournament for primary schools on November 17.
To get through to the final they had to win a contest between other schools in Nailsea before getting through to the final group stages and the semi-final.
On Friday, the school team represented North Somerset at an even bigger tournament held in Bridgwater for Somerset schools.
