MONEY Makes the World Go Round was the theme of a week of maths challenges at a Portishead school.
A host of activities were put on at Trinity Primary School including designing currencies and notes, writing poems about money, making coins from tin foil and writing cheques.
The children also created a money chain spelling out the word Trinity using coins donated to support the school’s sponsor child, Jon, in the Philippines.
Each class also designed and made products to sell, with proceeds donated toward an appeal to raise money for polio vaccinations.
