A brand new newspaper has been launched in North Somerset aimed at raising money for a good cause.
Children at Trinity Primary School in Portishead have produced the Trinity Times and will be selling it to friends and family, with proceeds to be donated to the Nepal earthquake appeal.
Articles in the first edition included a report on wow days and recent sporting achievements as well as the Trinity bake-off cake decorating competition.
The idea for the paper was instigated by the school’s writing leaders group and children from reception all the way up to year six have held weekly meetings to help plan its success.
