A school dog has been welcomed to Tickenham Primary School.
Gatsby, who is a 10-week-old mini dachshund, will live with the school’s headteacher Tristan Merriam, but will attend lessons to help children learn values including respect, compassion and trust.
Mr Merriam said: “We are certain this is a positive step forward in the school’s journey and a fantastic way to involve the whole school community in a shared project.”
