Youngsters stepped back in time and became Victorian holidaymakers for the day.
Tickenham Primary School's willow class embarked on a guided tour around Clevedon Pier last week.
Pupils discovered many facts in the toll house museum and learnt more about the pier's history.
The class then went down into the depths of the porthole room and dressed up in traditional clothing.
The school also welcomed artist, Naomi Triggol, this month to share her passion.
The class' project was based around seasides and Clevedon seafront in particular.
With Naomi's help, youngsters designed their own seafront paintings.
Willow class teacher and assistant head of school, Rebecca Underwood, said: "It was great to watch the children consolidate their learning.
"Every child was focused and listened with eyes wide, which was heart-warming to see."
