Children in Tickenham have been treated to a tasty way of keeping cool as North Somerset basks in a heatwave.
With the scorching summer weather baking the country, Tickenham Primary School pupils had a nice surprise as an ice cream van pulled into the playground.
The youngsters were each treated to a choice of ice creams and lollies from the van to celebrate the end of this academic year.
