Boys and girls have gone head-to-head in a reading challenge.
Pupils at Tickenham Primary School were put to the test in a quiz about two different books – Millions by Frank Cottrell-Boyce for years five and six, and A Series Of Unfortunate Events by Daniel Handler for years three and four.
The girls were victorious in both age groups with the winners earning a non-uniform day and a pot of sweets.
