The Jolly Postman
YOUNGSTERS at St Peter’s Primary School in Portishead are investigating the world of the Jolly Postman as part of their studies.
The five and six year olds dressed the part to look at the job of a postman in detail.
They took turns to run the school post office, learning how to address letters, weigh parcels and use different stamps for different destinations.
Class teacher Nicola Baldwin said: “The role play made learning all the more fun while incorporating numeracy, English, geography and art in to the project.”
