Youngsters from Backwell School created their own artwork using torches.

Light artist Mark Pederson ran a workshop for year eight and nine students who created exciting art work in the darkened theatre using torches, lights and other glowing objects.

During their lunch times, pupils have been contributing to large drawings, which will be exhibited in the reception area next term, and parents visiting the school for the year six open evening also took part in creating a joint drawing, currently on display at Backwell School.
