TEENAGERS were put to the test during mock interviews held to teach them the importance of making a good first impression when applying for a job or further education place.
Clevedon School joined up with The Rotary Club of Clevedon Yeo to put some of its older pupils through their paces. Rotary club members interviewed them for their chosen roles before giving feedback on their performance.
Club spokesman Steve Molloy said: “We have tremendous business acumen and experience within our club membership and we wanted to put that experience to good effect to give a boost to young people in the very competitive higher education and employment market. We hope to build on this new relationship in the future.”
