A daring team of fundraisers scaled the UK’s highest mountains to raise money for Flax Bourton Primary School.
A group of parents, teachers and friends of the school took on the Three Peaks Challenge to raise money to update and equip a new computer suite for the school.
The 20-strong group climbed up Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales in just under 24 hours and have raised a staggering £10,000 for the cause.
Headteacher Jane Bennett said: “We are absolutely delighted. It was such a big target to aim for and for such a small school it’s incredible. We have the utmost admiration for those who took it on.”
