AN ENTERPRISE project saw Portishead school pupils go head-to-head in a Dragon’s Den-style challenge at a local supermarket.
Year five students from St Peter’s Primary School developed their own ideas for a new biscuit which they presented to a panel of judges at Waitrose.
The youngsters developed their biscuits based on market research and produced their own packaging and marketing material. They then pitched their ideas to the Waitrose panel in a mock bid to get their product on the shelves.
Teacher Monica Heslam said: “They all did a good job but congratulations go to team Gingice who were judged as making the most successful bid.”
