Children enjoyed decorating cakes and competing in games at a summer fair in Backwell.
Staff, parents and pupils ran stalls at West Leigh Infant School’s fair so visitors could get their nails and faces painted, enjoy some crafts, let off some steam on the bouncy castle and try their luck on the tombola.
The activities were put on by the parent teacher association (PTA) and more than £2,300 was raised on the day.
The PTA has recently made two big donations to the school for a new outdoor play area, a storyteller chair and to pay for laptops and tablets for the pupils.
PTA members would like to thank local businesses for their generous raffle prizes.
