Year two pupils in Clevedon have made a heroic return to lessons after the Christmas break.
Yeo Moor Primary School, in Kennaway Road, hosted a superhero-themed WOW day
The event was held to support the youngsters’ reading skills and inspire their writing and imaginations.
As well as attending school dressed up as some of their favourite colourful characters, the pupils got involved in activities including creating their own superhero pop art and designing an exciting getaway vehicle.
Pupils will use their experiences to come up with their own tales of heroism and courage.
