TALENTED students from Backwell School’s sixth form raised nearly £5,000 for charity with a sell-out show.
More than 60 students put on a performance of The Jungle Book, along with 15 musicians, on three evenings before Christmas.
The students organised and staged the whole show themselves and raised a staggering £4,860.
The profits have now been sent to the Iracambi project in Brazil, which works to save the country’s rainforests.
