Ten students are now able to deal with burns and wounds and prevent choking after completing an emergency first aid course.
The sixth form students took part in a course to learn how to deal with emergency situations and to find out more about the role of a first aider.
They were taught to use a defibrillator, to manage patients coping with seizures, shock and bleeding and learnt the resuscitation technique.
