SPORTS stars from Nailsea School were presented with awards for their achievements by Olympic athlete Mhairi Spence.
The school held its sports personality of the year awards at Cadbury House Hotel in Congresbury to recognise pupils who have made outstanding contributions to sport.
Mhairi Spence competed in the modern pentathlon at the London 2012 Olympic and spoke to students about her school years and sporting career during the ceremony.
Awards were presented to each year group for team and individual sports.
The title of male and female school sports personality, as voted for by the students, went to year 11 pupils Josh Collins and Hannah Barrett.
