St Nicholas Chantry Primary School has received an award for completing a charity’s road safety and active travel course.
The school was handed the six-week bronze award by Sustrans after pupils, parents and teachers took part in a number of activities encouraging them to travel to school by walking, cycling and scooting.
As part of the course, which was also supported by North Somerset Council, pupils were taught how to cross the road safely and sensibly near parked cars and at junctions.
