St KATHERINE’S School in Pill, has been chosen to become an Expert Centre for the new Global Learning Programme for England.
The programme is a scheme which provides support for schools which can help enhance teaching and learning about global issues at key stages two and three.
The Global Learning Programme will focus on developing students’ knowledge and understanding of global issues, helping them to think critically about those issues and consider actions that they can take to overcome them.
As an Expert Centre, St Katherine’s School will also act as a hub to provide local peer-led training and support for teachers in its partner schools to meet their individual needs.
