SPEEDY youngsters from a Backwell school travelled to Exeter to put their racing skills to the test.
Ten children from years five and six at Fairfield School were picked to compete in the Independent Schools Association cross country event.
The competition was held in Exeter against pupils from across the South West.
Staff and pupils would like to say a big congratulations to Arthur who crossed the finish line in seventh place.
Arthur has made it through to the Independent Schools Association finals next month.
