YEAR three children at Mary Elton Primary School were given a demonstration of spinning.
Sarah Harris from The Spinning Weal in Hill Road visited the Clevedon school to show children how to spin and to let them have a go on old fashioned tools to create yarn.
This followed on from the children’s Celts project in which school governor Linda Jackson taught them weaving.
