The wonders of the universe inspired children from Nailsea during a visit by Space Odyssey.
Children from St Francis Primary School spent the day learning about space.
The children lay back and stared at the stars as staff from Space Odyssey took them on a journey beyond our galaxy.
Staff captured their imaginations as as they learnt about ancient Greek constellations, the moon cycle and future missions to Mars.
A school spokesman said: “Children were both surprised and impressed to see their school hall filled with a giant dome which had the capacity to hold an entire year group of children as well as everything they wanted to know about the universe.
