North Somerset’s best-known wheelchair basketball team have been putting primary school youngsters in Clevedon through their paces.
The South West Scorpions, who are based at Gordano School in Portishead, visited Mary Elton Primary School to teach pupils in all year groups about the sport.
During the visit the children were able to take part in a host of training drills to get used to moving around in the wheelchairs and hone their basketball skills by getting involved in some fun activities.
