CHILDREN from a Nailsea school were invited to take their pets to a special service to celebrate St Francis Church’s silver anniversary.
Pupils from St Francis Primary School dressed in silver to mark the occasion and took part in a service at the church, led by Deacon Paul Reddington, where a pet chicken and a dog were blessed and the children led readings. Two teachers also dressed up as a rabbit and a chicken to join in with the fun and the congregation tucked into a slice of birthday cake after the event.
